Our Services
Appointments
Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 - 11:30am and from 1:00 - 4:30pm. The hours from 2:30 pm until 4:00 pm are generally reserved for check up and cleaning appointments. We attempt to reserve these times in order to make it more convenient for our families who have children in school.
Continuing Care
Our practice offers a continuing care program that is designed to help your family have good dental hygiene and cavity-free check-ups. We believe very strongly that this is possible with regular dental care.
When you check out, you will schedule your family members back for their next six month continuing care appointment reserving a convenient day and time. You will receive a postcard approximately two weeks prior to the appointment as a reminder, allowing you enough time to reschedule should this become necessary. Also we will telephone you a day in advance as a kindly reminder.
New Patients
As a new patient to our practice, we ask that your initial visit be paid in full at the time of service, regardless of insurance coverage. We will be happy to supply you with an estimate of your initial charges.
Your dental claim will be submitted to your insurance company and, if any payment is made on the claim, we will issue you a reimbursement check. On your subsequent visits, your insurance will be filed and any remaining balance due will be shown on your statement.
Insurance/Payments
We are happy to file all insurance claims as a courtesy to you. All insurance claims are submitted on the date of service. All that we require is a copy of your dental insurance card, which should show the address of where to submit the claim.
We will also need the name, date of birth, social security number and employer of the person who carries the insurance. If we do not have all of this information we will be unable to file the insurance claim for you.
After your insurance has paid us, we will send you a statement showing what amount your insurance company paid on your claim, and the balance which will then be due from you.
For our patients who do not have dental insurance, we offer convenient payment methods of cash, check or Visa/MasterCard/Discover. We are also pleased to offer Care Credit to our patients. This is a unique plan which allows special financing, including some interest free financing, to those who are interested.
We are proud members of the Delta Dental Premier Plan, and also accept most insurance companies, including Hoosier Health Wise/Medicaid.
Sedation
Dr. Lemna is trained in a variety of methods to decrease your child's anxiety. He may suggest a way for your child to be treated so as to make the experience as pleasant as possible. The suggestion may include an oral sedative, laughing gas (nitrous oxide), or a light conscious sedation. Dr. Lemma will discuss the options with you before your child is treated.
